The great Alvar.

I have spent a lot of time in this landscape, Alvaret on southern Öland attracts me.

Somehow it draws me in every time I visit the island. It's flat and difficult to photograph, with characteristic rocks scattered here and there, juniper bushes and the occasional cow.

You walk and walk, lose yourself and in the end you have no idea where the car is parked. A landscape that makes your thoughts go in different directions. Suddenly you land in a garden where the details are placed by a landscape architect, in the middle of the garden the architect has planted a seed that many years later has developed into the perfect juniper. Around the main figure, rosehip bushes with red berries have been placed, rickety bushes and small clumps of all kinds of small bushes have been given their place. The veils of fog frame the scene as if a director would have worked at the Dramaten.

A landscape where the main motif has its place, like a place on stage.
